Two of the best woods in the world to chase threads! Did you thread the finial? Looks great, the foot might be a little narrow...

Thanks Emiliano! You are right, the foot was a bit narrow, but since this photo, I've added a bit of AB to it so it's almost 1/4" wider at the base now---more stable for sure. No doubt, threads would do well with either of these woods, but I've not explored technique for that yet.I know it's a specialty of yours!
