Quarter-Sawn Pecan Platter

10" QS pecan platter. Wood is by product of cutting bowl blanks from logs. Once turned to finished size. Dried in kiln...<5% moisture content. Top View

This is a very nice little platter. If you executed it 'quarter sawn' in order to prevent warping, be aware that including both sides of the pith has the potential to warp and as far as I understand it, is not technically 'quarter sawn.'
