Poplar Twist

This twisted bowl was turned from spalted Poplar using a 3-point multi-axis method to generate the twist. Carving and pyrography were used to highlight the spiral lines generated by the twist. Size is 5 ½ inches in diameter and 3 ½ inches in height. Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system.
