What's the size and finish? It makes me smile when I look at the piece. Great selection of Olive wood.

Couple of years ago I purchased some Olivewood from a guy who intended to sell the wood on Craigslists as firewood.
Too bad I didn't know that Olivewood can't be kept in large pieces, so even with the large amount of paraffin application to the ends of the wood, it still cracked during the seasoning.
So, I turned plenty of goblets, some hollow forms and so forth. But this one turned out funny, because it was right before the halloween when I turned it.
It's 4" tall and about 2" in diameter. The finish is just Beeswax and Boiled Linseed Oil.
My mother loved it when I brought it home, just as usually she does... :)
