Persimmon Hollow Form

This 4" x 4" hollow form was taken from the base of the tree where some heartwood was present. The black heartwood is virtually non-existent in persimmon. I was pretty surprised to see the tiger pattern pop out on the top. I sanded to 320, applied shellac, sanded to 400, then Yorkshire grit followed by Myland's.
