I made this last week for my youngest daughter. She informed me she didn't have anything I had made. So with birthday coming up Jan.3 I thought I better correct that. Woods are Blood Wood, Walnut and Maple. Usually all the Blood Wood I could find was very dark but last year I came across this nice light red board and I just had to have ir. I put on 2 coats of Sikens UV, About 6 coats of Wipe-On Polly and will add a coat of Armor-All on top of that which I hope will save the beautiful collar.
