Special Thanks" to John Jordan for his permission to try and make this as per his article in the AAW Journal, Spring of 2009.

The size of this Box Elder with some burl is 9" tall and 8" wide.

This is my first try at this type of work and I can see it will take me to a new level of woodturning.

The finish is Deft Sanding Sealer and wax.

The easiest part was the woodturning.

This piece is not for sale, due to the fact that it is a close copy of John's work. Again, Thanks John for the inspiration.C&C wellcome

I never placed much heed on Plagiarism until one day I found a gallery I supply with my winged Manta Ray pieces selling identical or near copies (well maybe not as good l.o.l ) by another turner at cheaper prices .They even advertised them openly as Terry Scott take offs
