Owl Vase
Made from Pear, after turning, piercing, and carving, l tried bleaching the piece, but it just did not have that porcelain look. I sat there thinking about what to do and saw some Milk Paint on my shelf. I gave it a few coats, added a finish, and buffed it slightly, l was pleasantly surprised how close it looked to the original pottery. Stands 10” tall, I still think it is a rather strange looking vase.
Is that a spring around the eyes?
