Old School toy gets an upgrade

This Australian Blue Gum yo-yo is a old-school fixed axle one piece design, but different from my usual spinners...the four little through-holes near the axle plane are a new-school performance feature, providing some friction that enables a sleeping yo-yo to snap back to your hand with a slight tug on the string. Kicking things up a notch.
