That was a stump on the embankment of an abandoned railway.
For long time, I was wondering what to do with this...
I did try to do my very best...

derelict stump of holly oak
turned on three axis (carefully, really carefully )
like it a lot, saw it and said to self.....looks like Lionel
 
Rather unique and a rather difficult turning. Thanks for sharing.
