Oak Root Bowl

Oak Root Bowl

A small bowl (3.5" diameter, 2" high). Finish is Mahoney's Walnut oil.

Customer at an art market gave me a couple small pieces of Oak root. The root was from a tree on a family member's property that was brought down by a hurricane. She wanted something to be made from it.

I made two small bowls and a small goblet (the two other pieces are still on the finishing table). Might have enough scraps left for another goblet or tiny dish.
