17.5 -15" diameter by 3.75" high. finished with Kylon Matte 1311. This oak burl ended up being turned on two different axis because a fist size chunk came off. It was only turning a 600 rpm so it wasn't very dramatic, but it did cause me to move my center.

I'm one who really appreciates all those cracks, bark inclusions, and voids!

"Character" is the word for that!

This bowl really does look nice, and will look beautiful in someone's home!

You're right, Tony. The bark went a lot deeper than I thought. If I had it to do over I would have dribbled some epoxy down into the inclusion.
Thanks Odie, right now I'm enjoying seeing how the morning light plsys with all the variations and textures.
