Norway maple footed bowl

Norway maple footed bowl

I went looking on my shelf for a dried blank that I could turn with an inward turning rim. I found this piece of maple that had a surface void that did not go all the way through to the inside surface. It’s been a while since I used turquoise fill material, but this one seemed a suitable candidate. The finished bowl is 7 1/2” diameter x 4” tall. Finished with Doctor!s Woodshop Walnut Oil and Microcrystalline Paste Wax.
