Noltlizh

Bradford pear.......calabash zia series

this turning inspired by a Navaho rug/blanket design of my Uncle Charlie. the weavers color had universal meanings, while potters colors had more tribal/regional recognition. Noltlizh means zig zag lines or lightning, a common theme of rug/blankets. this turning colors are sort of a double negative, where the red on black depicts sunlight on back of clouds. you can read much more from the other colors as your research will lead you.
