NIP 2.0
Brian Longshore

NIP 2.0

I call this one “NIP 2.0” because it is the second Norfolk Island Pine I have turned in this shape. This one is smaller than the last at around 10” inches wide. I also used a different finish on this one opting for a simple coat of sanding sealer and then two wax coats so the finish remains flat or matte and really shows the woods beauty. I hope you all like it and I welcome questions and comments on this one. Happy turning! Big B
This turning is proof that "natural colour contrast" can make a piece very exquisite in it's own right without added man made unnatural colours. A beauty and very well done, Brian.
