Natures Momentos: Tree Spirits. Ash turned carved torched and painted. This piece was exciting to work on, the spirits smiled as they peeked out behind the branches. The colors are muted to add a hazy mood. The silver moonlight has a blue tint to depict a lunar halo perfect conditions for spirits to dance.

Very fluid piece. Its very organic in form and visually very interesting.
It also sounds like it was incredibly fun to make and I am seeing the moon in the trees more each time I view it. Beautiful work.

Inspired by time walking in parks, working in garden. Also by enjoying morning tea on garden bench. It is quiet except for critters and me. Trying to observe and absorb it all.
