Mystery Wood

I was offered a Cherry Tree that blew over on a client family’s property. The tree was cut up into chunks and all I had to do was go get it. Always tight for time when I head over the big island so it was load and go and then dropped some off to a friend. When I cut the pieces up it seemed to dull the saw chain and later the lathe tools. It didn't look like cherry but in my haste, I failed to look at the leaves, they were all over the ground. It was a planted tree in a very old established ocean front property so who knows. Turned green, finished with tung oil, 10.5" X 3.5" Mystery Wood.
