My first Open Segment bowl

This was my first attempt at an open segment bowl. It is about 9" diameter an is made with Paduke and Maple. It took 3 tries before I succeeded. I had the bottom small pattern too fine, not enough support and when I touched it with the tool they just exploded. So did away with the gap between the those segments and then it worked our fine. I just parted of the bottom section and built a new one and glued it back up then finished it,
