Monkeypod, ebony feature

Monkeypod, ebony feature

3 guesses why ebony showed up as a feature in the bowl—salvage of a funnel. But now I have a depth finder, though my mistake with this was forgetting I had a recess and not a tenon.
Funnels went right to the garbage in my shop before I really knew what I was doing. Who wants a screw up staring them in the face every time you look at the bowl.

Agree. But useful for practicing on before disposing. And this one will be given away to someone who will have no idea why the bottom is different—after I fix those tool marks at 10 o’clock.
