Hello folks

Would you be willing to describe the texturing effect on the vessels? I would love to see them in person as they are wonderful works and finely crafted.

thank you

Jarred: sure- the left hand beech was done with the sorby texturing tool then scorched and wire brushed. the cocobolo was divided into segments and carved. The yew one was the same as the cocobolo but then textured using a burr cutter in a foredom type tool. and the final beech one was cut into with a parting tool then split into random segments and a line carved vertically then scorched and wire brushed.
hope this helps
George
