Mesquite Urn 2

A large capacity urn - 275 cubic inch capacity. 10 inches tall and 10 inches wide. Basket-illusion added to the body and lid. A turquoise stone was shaped to fit the top of the lid. The lid is fastened with a brass-threaded insert. 3 pewa patches were inserted to stabilize the pith cracks near the top. Finished with Waterlox.

I really like how you incorporated a basket illusion pattern! The piece has nice form and the turquoise stone on top is a nice touch.
