Mesquite & Resin

My neighbor gave mea big ole branch of Mesquite, so I took some cutoffs and stabilized them with Cactus Juice, then poured a resin blank using Alumilite Clear Slow. Shaped it on the lathe this morning; it's 6.5 x 3, sanded up to 12,000 and finished with microcrystalline wax. Gave it to the neighbor in thanks for the wood.
