Mesquite Gigantus
David Bartell

Mesquite Gigantus

A large Mesquite Southwestern style vase. 12 inches tall and 11.5 inches wide. The bark inclusion/branch junction gave me concerns but lots of CA, tape wrapping and respect for the possibilities got me through the hollowing successfully. Lots of features as is typical for Mesquite. The color of the wood is on the light side for this type of wood.
