Meekness

Meekness

This box has the name meekness. The top shows a person in a meek mindset, flexed (I hope this is the accurate phrase). Again like the "halfopen" it is a very basic shape, but I think with very much expression by looking it intensively. I like simple forms enjoyable for your eyes.
Thanks for your comments.
Hello Jo,
superb. I love it. It's a good idea for chess ridder....or bishop ?
A question, when you turn the external shape of the lid with the hollow,
did you clog this hollow with a waste dowel ? I presume.
Another:
Which tool have you employed to go under the flat part of "Halfopen", not so basic, you have just the dia for a tool shaft !
Maybe you can explain on your web page ?
Many thanks for sharing, Lionel.

Thanks Lionel,
you are right with the dowel at the lid. I will use this way to make the other objects of my series "Nur Mut" as boxes.
To make the "Halfopen" I doen't found adaquate tools to hollowing. So I made my own tool "Giraffenhals" (giraffe neck ?) in different lenghtes at the top.
