Woven Seat Stool
I saw Larry Copas three leg stool, nice BTW, right as I was starting to weave the seat of a four legger. Inspired by a chair I saw once with this same derrière shaped seat. Except I used woven Danish Cord which provides a touch of cushion for said derrière. I've done several cord seat chairs pre Lathe (spindel legs). White Oak, Danish Cord and lots of little nails. Finished with linseed oil and beeswax.

Looks great! Gives me inspiration to learn how to Danish weave. It's been on my list for a long time now.
Oh you absolutely should! There are so many directions you can go. My unsolicited advice, get real Danish cord ($$$). The cheap stuff, like Rockler sells, is okay for learning but the real stuff is a thousand times better. Plan out the pattern and the nails spacing carefully before you start.
