I bought pistachio log from a man who lives on the Black Sea, harvesting driftwood. There is nothing like this in my region, because of the cold climate.

It's okay, I'll tell you a little bit about my region. I live in the southern Urals, not far from Kazakhstan. Birch, pine, and maple grow mainly here. Oak, elm, poplar, etc. are sometimes found in plantings, not far from us in the mountain taiga zone vegetation is more diverse. In my garden, I sometimes harvest the wood of fruit species, such as apple, pear, cherry. I usually lack beautiful, special wood, so I have to buy it.
