Sorry for the delay Thomas. I somehow missed your comment. No gels or heatlamp. Just two candles, one inside the piece and one behind the piece. I wanted to emphasize the "sea foam" around the whale and after a little experimentation, I found this to be a simple and effective solution. Camera on a tripod of course.
