Continuing on with the theme of the round bottom box, this box is turned from a rustic, spalted piece of Black & White Ebony (Diospyros malabarica) This one sports a domed, undercut lid, true round bottom, chamfered sides and my signature small foot. This wood is really easy to turn, very smooth cutting and doesn't tear out very easily. Turned, hollowed and finished with gloss lacquer. Size is 1 3/4" tall x 1 7/8" diameter. With my demo coming up on this style of box, it's been great to practice more of them, as long as you guys enjoy seeing them!
