Bradford Pear pierced wave bowl

8 1/2" x 3"
John, was this hand pierced or lazer/cnc cut? the top and bottom lines are so perfectly uniform. very nice flow with the wavy piercing section
Thomas, sorry about the long delay. I thought I had responded but apparently I missed this. No, it was hand pierced. I first drew the border lines on the piece. This was a bit tricky getting the wave form I wanted and perfectly parallel lines. I fashioned a laser pointer above and marked it as I slowly pivoted the bowl on a jig that held the chuck.
