@brian horais Thank you ! I got a nice load of Milo a few months ago, the bark sems to be staying better than other ones I have had. Of course, I help nature with some CA, but sometimes, not even the CA helps. Aloha
That's a very beautiful bowl, Emiliano. Can I ask (learner question) - did you twice turn that/ once turn green/ was it already seasoned when you started?
@Chris Short Hello Chris. All of my Natural Edges I turn them once. Even if the wood was cut the day before. If they warp nobody will notice. Do not hesitate to ask anything else! Aloha
@Emiliano Achaval Thanks Emiliano - that's what I was hoping to hear, recently I've been once turning and enjoying the movement, but clearly it's a question of not letting things split when that's not what's intended. I've also been browsing your gallery, wonderful work and an inspiration.
Speaking from a "purest" point of view, it is such a pleasure, Emiliano, to see your "masterful" turnings continue to allow the figure and natural colour show the piece without any "gobblie gook" colouring (inlace/epoxy/resin) being added! Just superb!
