Maple HF

Maple HF

Like many I still have not found much lathe time. Still trying to figure out where it went. Anyway Ed Koenig gave me a nice hunk of maple several months ago and I have been working on it for at least a month. The wood has a lot going on with it including some burl. Lid and finial are ebony. Measures 6" dia. x 11" tall. Finished with antique oil and buffed.
very nice

Keith,
I'm going to break with the norm and say something critical about this piece; as soon as I can find something I don't like about it.

Great piece! Absolutely beautiful.

Chuck
