Maple Burl and Wenge Lidded Box

This box is inspired by Chris Stott's Elegant Box in his book, 50 Turned Box Designs. The wood on this one is Maple Burl with a Wenge lid and maple burl inlay. Approx. 2.5 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter. Finished with gloss lacquer. The honey tones of the maple really contrast nicely with the dark wenge.
