Low Flat Hollow Form

Still working on the long and/or narrow neck hollow form which on this one seems silly - but it's all fun! This one has my first attempt at water drop ripples effect. Not as good as I had envisioned but a good learning piece. 10.5 x 4.5 Walnut finished with linseed oil and bees wax.

I like the ripple, it creates a sense is movement. Especially at the heartwood. Nice work and thanks for sharing as piece that has given me some ideas.
