First I am the President of the Central Arkansa Woodturners club in Hot Springs, AR. I've always wanted to turn Ornaments for the holiday's but never found time. This year I challenged my Club to turn a Ornament for the December meeting - now I have to turn one!!! The Live Edge Roof is Pear, The house is Pecan and the Finial is Cherry (dyed with Black India Ink). Perch is a actual tree branch. Finished with 2 coats of Lacquer, polished and Waxed. It's 5" tall and 2" wide on the roof. This is a original turning from Dale Nish.
