@Bill Boehme No, I've haven't gotten that far into it yet. I'm still not quite sure how they do the beading and burning in such tight quarters. I'm thinking they sacrifice a few tools and bend them so they can do it. Have you done an interior?
@Curtis Fuller No, I have only done one small hollowform so far and I painted the interior with black gesso to make it pitch dark. I have he same thoughts that you do about sacrificing some tools to get them to fit in tight quarters.
I know a fellow turner who has done insides as well as outsides. He does the inside first as "half bowls", then glues the two pieces together and then does the outside. It's worth a try folks!
