Let it Snow

9” x 4” Cedar turned and power carved Christmas tree topped with a simple Padauk star. To a achieve the visual effect, I aggressively power carved vertical lines and indentions. Next, I applied heavy amounts of diluted shellac. Lastly, I sanded down all high spots creating lighter contrasting colors and and smooth surfaces atop sharp edge areas.
