Storm damaged creek side Maple had been cleaned up a year ago. This piece and the next are all part of a very large multi branch lower section that no one wanted to split for firewood. Finished with Mahoney's Walnut Wax. 10" x 10" Once turned.
Thanks! The thickness is around 1/4 at the top probably 5/16 as it goes down and guessing by the bottom heavy feel it’s closer to 7/16 ( not going to admit 1/2 at the bottom sides. The actual bottom I can measure at 3/8”.
Little guy is Scamp. He’s in training with his sudu-sister Kaycie.
