Kauila Hollow Form

A Troy Grimwood inspired work. I hosted Troy here on Maui. We were the only club to do so in Hawaii. So glad we did! He's a great guy, married to a wonderful lady. He did his "Ancient Treasure Box" demo for us, amongst other things. This is my take on that. Main body is Kauila wood. Then Koa and a little top made out of Ohia Burl. Finished with Deft lacquer. Carved feet. About 6 inches tall.
