Rev - that is one beautiful piece. The finial really compliments the piece. Excellent work. My hat is off to you. A friend did a demo on turning alabaster once. It was very interesting until the white dust fog got so bad you couldn't see what he was doing. I decided at that point that it probably wouldn't be a good idea to do it in my basement shop.
