Included Sycamore

This hollow form was turned green from a freshly felled sycamore tree. The hf was finish turned with face grain orientation to allow the bark inclusion to be emphasized in the final turning. The form moved following drying, giving it an organic appearance. Cant win them all. The piece is 10 diameter x 2 high and finished with 3 coats of Waterlox followed by buffing.
