Honey Locust Hollow Form

Always love the grain patterns in honey locust. 8 inches diameter by 2 inches high, hollowed through the bottom. Finished with Osmo Polyx and buffed.
Could you please describe the technique of hollowing through the bottom? Sounds interesting and I agree with you Honey Locust is a beautiful wood!
