Hickory Natural edged bowl. Pretty tough stuff, saved from the firewood pile. About 8" wide X 4" tall. Finished with Tung Oil and Beall buffed.

BTW: I've had poor luck with hickory......cracking seems to be very problematic with this species. Did you do anything special to prevent cracking in this one?
Hi Odie, I roughed this out wet, then thoroughly wet it down with "Turners Choice" by Cedarcide. Let it sit for a week and then finish turned it. This works well for me with most woods (but not Gum, for example).
