I donated this piece to the Mackintosh Academy Auction that was held last month. This is the only piece that I have made so far that has made it out into the "general public" (I.e., not just given to family and friends). Happy to say that it was bid on! The box is made from salvaged laminated maple and walnut used by Boulder Colorado's Schacht Spindle Company that make weaving looms. The box is 25mm tall and 151mm wide with an inside height of 15 mm. It was fun to make (and I learned a lot) as I have never done anything like it before....even used a new tool.
