Hair stick from scorched bloodwood and curly maple

The 5" long shaft was turned and carved from bloodwood and then scorched to accent the lines. The piece is 6.5" long overall. I like scorching bloodwood because it not only looks good but it also gives off a wonderful smell that reminds me of cooking apples when heated in a flame.
