Gold Cup on a Twist

This 9-inch tall turning was made from a single block of mahogany. The upper bowl was turned on-center and finished with a gold interior and antiqued outer surface. The bottom stand was turned off-center
(while still attached to the top) to generate its twisted shape. Cutout legs were added to enhance the lines of the twisted base.
