This 5-inch tall vase was turned from a block of figured Maple. It's always fun to see what exciting grain patterns are hiding inside a block of wood. This one certainly did not disappoint me. I turned the top section off-center to generate the twist. Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system.
