Ginkgo and Walnut

Walnut 9" x 5" bowl, carved and finished with transparent airbrush acrylics, oil and lacquer.
Jim.......I have quickly become an admirer of yours. Many turners try to do everything, and end up becoming a master of nothing. I believe you have found something that will define you in a way you'll find personal satisfaction with......

ooc

I rate you a 10.....but, did that separately.......

Jim, the 3D effect of the carving is outstanding. Such a well done and intriguing piece. Love it.

Hi Jim, there is a very large Ginkgo tree that I have loved to look at in the fall, the leaves are an outstanding yellow gold color, and seem to last a very long time. I have 2 small ginkgo bonsai and 3 sprouts, very little trees that came up this year. One of my favorites.
OH, by the way, this bowl is spectacular.
Jim
