Giant Mallee

Australian Giant Mallee, 10"d x 6.5"h. Top consists of Black wood, Tulip wood, and Cedro Macho. Finished with Daly's Profin.
very nice

stunning work of art! Mallee is incredible wood and you did it justice.

Beautiful work.

Can you tell me about the finials? They are really nice. Are they cut with a bandsaw are are they multi-axis?

Steve

Steve, each one is turned individually from a pen blank. Then the receiving cap is turned. I then turn a friction block to hold the cap and drill the holes on my milling machine. Hope that helps you. Sven
