"Forest Treasure"

"Forest Treasure" is a celebration of nature’s beauty, combining the warmth of burl wood with the refined elegance of pewter. The vessel, turned and shaped to highlight the intricate grain, is accented with a pewter rim and base, enhancing its timeless appeal. Atop the lid, a hand-cast pewter squirrel perches, embodying the spirit of the forest—curious, lively, and ever-watchful. This piece reflects the harmony between craftsmanship and the organic world, inviting the viewer to appreciate the small wonders found in nature. Turned from a cherry burl with pewter added.
