Fluted walnut bowl

This bowl blank just needed to be turned yesterday. I wrapped the rim over and undercut it pretty far. Then I decided I would flute the rim. I use a 1" x3" sanding drum and my Foredom with 120 grit paper to carve them. I also fluted the foot which you can barely see in the photo. This piece is much glossier than it appears in the photo and was hard to photograph.
